OUR STORY

We knew that we were meant to live out in the country, we just never would have imagined that we would be doing what we are doing now.  We brought some ducks home the summer of 2019 for our pond, brought 4 goats home Christmas of 2019 and the rest is history. I say we are striving to eliminate the grocery store and live as self sufficiently as possible.

Josh is a roofer and you can imagine how taxing that can be. But his knowledge and skills are probably the most valuable thing we have here. We need something built? He will wing it and it will turn out amazing in the end. He is the most hard working man I know because there is basically not an hour of the day he isn't working, whether it be his real job or on our farm. He doesn't enjoy the interfacing with customers as much, but thats OK because the wife of the team is a talker just like her dad!

Sam has worked in the financial industry for many years now. Last year I quit my job that I had spent years working towards, that also made us very financially stable. I worked remote for 2 years and they very suddenly demanded we "go back to office". That did not work out with everything we do here and Josh said "quit, we will figure it out". And here we are. Not financially stable but we are working towards this place being able to cover itself so that we can put even more time, effort, and money into what we do. I now work part time which allows me to make all the products we have to offer.
