Every bar begins with our signature cold process recipe, crafted from goat milk, saponified lard, and organic coconut oil. To create Cedar Shake, we add activated charcoal for a detoxifying boost, colloidal oats for gentle exfoliation, and cedarwood essential oil for a warm, earthy fragrance. The bar’s dark color, speckled with oats, reflects its natural, rustic character.
We chose this recipe with intention: sourcing ingredients we raise or produce ourselves whenever possible. Much of the lard comes directly from our own hogs, the goat milk from our dairy herd, and the coconut oil is always organic.
